Sommerliche Temperaturen, ausgetrocknete Böden, verdorrte Pflanzen, tropische Nächte , die einem ohne Air Condition nicht einschlafen lassen.

Man sehnt sich Nässe.

Mensch und Tier lechzen nach einem Brunnen, nach dem wichtigsten Lebensmittel, nach Wasser.

Aber es sprudelt aus Brunnen, nicht mehr kühl, schon temperiert, aus dem Wasserhahn heraus fliessend, aber nach Chlor riechend.

Den ganzen Winter haben wir uns Sonne gewünscht, Wärme, einmal nicht Regen, Hagel oder Schnee.

Weg von der Eiskälte, hin zur Wärme. Man fragt sich: Ja muss es den gleich Hitze sein?

Jetzt ist die Hitze da, kommt der Wunsch nach Kühlung hoch.

Sehnsucht nach Regen.

Schon der Gedanke das kostbare Nass von oben zu bekommen , muntert auf.

Noch ist der Regen kostenlos, das Wasser aus dem See kostet schon Geld, nur wenn man darin schwimmt und trinkt nicht.

Je mehr wir das Wasser verschmutzen, desto teurer wird es.

Wie heisst es in dem Song ” Purple Rain”, wenn der Regen nicht mehr weiss und durchsichtig ist?

Es ist nicht selbstverständlich, zumindest im 2.Jahrhundert, dass der Regen nicht alles mit sich trägt. Giftstoffe, Schwefel, Russ, Staub, Vulkanasche, Wüstensand.

Noch kommt er auch sauber zu uns.
