Der Mond hat Faszinierendes an sich.

Der einzige natürliche Satellit der Erde.

Mondsüchtig. Es gibt keine Steigerung.

Es gibt Menschen, die nachts schlafwandeln,nachtwandelnd Dinge verrichten, von denen sie nachher nichts mehr wissen,

manchmal wandeln sie in  Situationen, die sie  in normalem Zustand nie gewagt hätten.

Der Mond  kann einem in seinen Bann ziehen, nicht nur Ebbe und Flut.

Somnambulismus oder Lunatismus.
Bei Vollmond ist es hell.

Mondfinsternisse haben immer eine Bedeutung. Schon Thales von Milet und Herodot erkannten die Perioden der Finsternisse.

Der Vollmond zeigt den Mond in voller Grösse.

Viele Variationen: Erdbeermond, der Blue Moon, der Blutmond, der Supervollmond und der Erntemond, bei dem es so hell ist, daß die Ernte mit Traktoren eingefahren werden kann.

Viele Menschen rechnen dem Mond eine Wirkung auf den menschlichen Körper aber auch Flora und Fauna zu, sie pflanzen nur bei bestimmten Mondphasen,

Als Gegenstand der Poesie und der Mystik bleibt der Mond magisch, geheimnisvoll.

Wenn man den Mond anschaut, vermag man in den Flecken Gesichter erkennen, die die Phantasie beflügeln, so wie in dem Lied von Gus Backus von 1961

” … Haben Sie schon mal den Mann im Mond gesehen? 
Man fragt sich, wohnt der Mann denn auf dem Mond auch schön?
Hat er genau wie wir ‘ne Mondscheinbraut
Für die sich’s lohnt, dass man ein Häuschen baut?”

Seit der Mondlandung 1969 und in wenigen Jahren, wenn die erste Mondstation aufgebaut und bewohnt ist , eine Realität, und die menschen, die dann dort leben, ist der Blaue Planet nicht weniger geheimnisvoll.

Man könnte beim Anblick süchtig werden
