Brücken zu bauen ist nicht nur etwas Physisches, architektonisches,

Brücken zu bauen in Konflikten ist das Errichten von Brücken der Menschlichkeit,

mentale Brücken um Unvereinbares miteinander zu verbinden, Frieden zu stiften.

Manchmal muss man sich gedankliche Brücken bauen, Eselsbrücken.

Zur Budapester Szechenyi Kettenbrücke gibt es eine Geschichte:

“Als die Brücke eingeweiht werden sollte, verkündete der von seinem perfekten Werk überzeugte Architekt William Tierney Clark , daß , wenn jemand einen Fehler finden würde, er in die Donau spränge. Ein kleiner Junge entdeckte , daß die Löwen an der Brücke keine Zungen hatten, und so musste er ins Wasser springen”

Man sollte sich nie als perfekt wähnen, irgend wo gibt es immer einen Fehler.

Brücken sind Symbole, sie stehen für Gemeinsames zu erreichen.

Manche Paare hängen Schlösser an ein Brückengeländer, ein Zeichen ihrer Liebe.

Brücken sollte man pflegen und nicht marode werden lassen,

ein Abriss oder Sprengen ist immer auch das Ende einer Geschichte.
