Feiern, Feiertag, lateinisch “feria” der Festtag, was ja fast wie nach Ferien klingt.

Abgegrenzt von den Werktagen gibt es die unterschiedlichsten Beweggründe für Feiertage.

Religiöse Festtage aller Religionen , politische, weil man an irgendeinen Politiker denken möchte oder ein politisches Ereignis.

Man spricht von beweglichen und festen Festtagen, gesetzlichen Tagen,

Gedenktagen, Nationalfeiertagen , Internationalen Feiertagen.

Die Bandbreite ist groß, jedenfalls ist an diesen tagen für den durchschnittlichen Menschen frei, er braucht nicht zu arbeiten.

Andere Feiertage, wie der des Taschenrechners, oder der 1.April, kuriose, und weniger lustige,

alle hängen mit einem Thema zusammen, und es ist da fast keines ausgelassen.

so auch der ” geh zu Fuss Feiertag” am 5.April.

Zwischen manchen Feiertagen liegt ein Brückentag, um die freie Zeit auszuweiten.

Feiern ist jedenfalls von dem Normalen losgelöst,

eigentlich müsste man jeden Tag zu einem besonderen Feiertag machen.

Der Tag seiner Wünsche, der Tag seiner Abschlüsse, alle Jubiläen.

Man unternimmt etwas, wo sonst keine Zeit ist,

und Zeit ist das, was man sich immer nehmen müsste
