Nicht der Name eines Ortes, der wäre Halingen bei Menden,

eher ein Zustand  wenn die Dunkelheit einbricht,

eine diffuse Beleuchtung,

wenn Dinge passieren , die Tags nicht sein können.

Heimlich, insgeheim, unheimlich, heimtuerisch und verstohlen,

nicht nur schwäbisch, auch schwyzerisch, hälenga,

Es steckt auch das Wort hehl, der Hehler drin,

wie bei:” Di , des hot der hälenga gmacht”, also hinten herum,

ohne, dass es andere merken oder sehen sollten.

In einer Geschichter der  Zimmerschen Chronik flüstert jemand einer Frau etwas helingen zu, weil die Botschaft nur persönlich , nicht für andere Ohren bestimmt war.

Hä, steckt im Wort, hä ist die alemannische Variante für was, so wie:

“Hä, wa hosch gseht”, übersetzt: Was hast Du gesagt.

In der Mundart wird der Zustand diskreter Informationsmitteilung, oder das Bemühen, ja nicht aufzufallen, als verdruckt bezeichnet, eben “hälingen”

Wo man hälingen spricht, ist eine Person zuviel

    But, think on this, what if you wrote a catchier post title?
    I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, but ssuppose you added a title that makes people waant more?
    I mean Hälingen –HPH s Blog is kinra boring.
    You might glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create article headlines to grab people too
    open the links. You might add a video oor a pic or two to get readers excited about what you’ve got to say.

    Just my opinion, it could make your website a little bit more interesting.
