Man ist neugierig,
eine Haltung, die aus dem Bogenschießen abgeleitet ist,
dann, wenn der Bogen gespannt ist,
bereit um einen Pfeil abzuschießen.
Deswegen sagt man als Redewendung ” gespannt, wie ein Flitzebogen”
Der Zustand des gespannt Seins kann merkwürdig, seltsam, kurios, sein.
Im Englischen curious, tense und eager
Was wird kommen, was wird sein, was passiert mit uns, wie wird sich alles entwickeln.
Viele Fragen, keine oder wenige Antworten, und diese nicht fundiert.
Herzklopfen, wie auf Kohlen sitzen.
Gebannt kann fasziniert sein, aber auch gelähmt, wie die sprichwörtliche Maus
angesichts der Schlange.
Man sagt auch ” Gefahr erkannt, gebannt”,
Tritt das Erwartete ein, weswegen man gespannt war,
müsste aufgrund der eigenen Erfahrungen eigentlich nichts besonderes passieren,
auf jedwedes Problem kann man reagieren,
wenn man nur mit offenen Augen durch das Leben geht.
