Manchmal kommt beides zusammen. ” Kommst Du erst oder gehst Du schon” , heisst es. Das bezieht sich meistens auf die Morgenstunden.

Abgefahren kann bedeuten, dass der Zug abgefahren ist, auch der sprichwörtliche. Es hat sich alles erledigt. Aus, vorbei, zu spät.

Warum “ab” und “gefahren” ?

Abgefahren kann aber auch ausgefallen sein,

aussergewöhnlich, extraordinaire, unkonventionell, beeindruckend, Begeisterung hervor rufend.

Etwas was weg ist kann, aber muss nicht, auch unter Umständen das Non plus ultra.

Eigentlich wäre angefahren besser. Etwas was kommt wäre ” in”, das was ” out” ist eher das Abgefahrene. Da, wo nichts mehr geht.

Jedenfalls ist abgefahren positiv belegt und man hat die Assoziationen abgefahrene Klamotten und Bands
